New Year

This is the year of change...recently entered the market of single's land and have been spending a fare amount of quality time with an old college friend from Wayne State Nebraska. Another large change in my life is I am in the final stages of closing down the facility were I work which means permanent lay off. I do have options, thank God. I have been going to church with some great friends which has allowed me to have pure faith in destiny and pure faith in the fact that I am NOT in control of my life, only the choices I make with the options that have been presented to me. (never thought I would feel so free in my choices)
In the months to come I am sure that there will be more changes in my life...I can only anticipate what the good lord has in store for me. All I need to do is be aware and present and make the choice. Whatever that may be.
 

Start of X-mas 2010

Well so far so good. Spending time with Jake's dad. Special requests for this year were chocolate chip cookies, cream cheese cookies, peanut butter balls, and peanut Hersey kiss cookies. I have made 4 batches of cookies in 15 days...next year I think I will plan a weeee bit better. We went out hunting today spending great quality time together. Enjoy this round of pictures. Rookie Bloggers

Well - this is the first official blog that we have attempted. I love the updates that my brother does with his family, it just seams so much more personable than facebook/myspace. Jacob and I look forward to what we can do with this blogging page. We will do our best to make sure that all of our friends and family are kept informed on what we are doing and were we are going. I know that 2011 is going to bring great things, 2010 sure did. We both have been so blessed to have all of you in our lives.
